New Models from THS-Modell
Dont know if the mods could make a new section with "Construction News" or something, or just re-name this one and use it as that?
Anyway, i got very exited when i did see some news from the Dortmund show... These are THS-Modell new models, 2 Volvos (FINALLY!, yes im from Sweden! :) ) Im very intrested in that loader, looks amazing! Maybe it has been done, I would sure like to see a spreadsheet comparing some of the different pieces of equipment now available. Something that would include scale, weight, power system, basic price. I love looking at all of it but I am still too under informed to recognize an apple an oranges comparison when I see one.

Yep, they look amazing!
I have found out the price tag, wont be cheap trust me......hold on, sit down....breath... Volvo EC480DL = 6600 Euro Volvo L250G = 7200 Euro I better start saving up, that 250G really got stuck on my head! :) 22-24bar working preassure on the 250G, scale 1:14,5 , both will be out next year 2014. |

Looks good.

Oh wow, that Volvo 250G is beautiful! How come is costs more then the excavator? One would think that an excavator would be far more complex, thus more money. Let's see, at 7,200 Euro, it would cost us Americans $9,416, at the current conversion rate, which is a little on the low side right now. Hmmm, guess it's only going to be a dream for now! That won't stop me from drooling over it!

Volvo had the THS´s models on display in their store at the Bauma exhibition last week.
They also displayed the A40F :eek::eek: I spoke to Mr. Seipt (the "S" in "THS") at the Dortmund model show the week before, and as far as I remember the A40D is planned for 2015 (or was it 2014:o? In any case, it sounded like an awful long time). Well it's official... I'm never scratch building anymore Volvo's. No way to compete with the looks of those pieces. I am surprised that the excavator is only 33 pounds though.

I had a drive of these machines at Dortmund and they seem to be more powerful than the others available but they are running more preasure. The dumper was also a nice model and yes the price was 7200 euros

Does anyone have a web-site/link to the Manufacturer? I'm interested if they are taking pre-orders. I've really set my eye on that loader. It's like a piece of functional art! Now I just have to convince my better half ><

OMG that A40D is amazing looking. I kept toying with the Idea of ordering a
B35 but thank god I didn't. I have something big coming so the timing might work out just right to order this beast when it's out for sale. |

Looks like very high end models:) The weight of 15 kgs (33 lbs) is the scale correct weight of the Volvo 480 in 1:14.5 ( 48.000 kg / 14.5*14.5*14.5)

Incredible! The excavator is so life like. Even the Volvo name is cast into the buckets. This has to be the most realistic looking machine out there right now. I even noticed they had a scale (dummy) valve block cast and installed the proper place. That's detail!
