Nice, what cab are you going to use?
|
Re: Nitro, why because I had the parts and I could.
Not bad. I expected it would be a lot faster. What kind of transmission are you running, Travis? Might make a cool pulling truck with that nitro engine.

Ok here are some update pics and a new video. It is a good thing having neighbors you get along with that have paved driveways. :D I made my new exhaust 1/2" copper from the manifold to the 3/4" copper exhaust stacks and crossover.

Love the smoke, as for the sound......sick air-raid siren comes to mind. It's coming along great man.

Re: Nitro, why because I had the parts and I could.
Travis,
You may already be aware of this, but you may be able to convert this engine to diesel with a little work. Diesel used to be fairly popular fuel in a lot of the older RC airplane engines. There is still a bit of info out there on the airplane forums telling how to build a kit to get the compression just right. Diesel and castor fuel also smells a lot better when running. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pCgOL6zRqQ |
