Hitachi Zaxis 870 LCH

So I have ordered one of Vario's excavators.
I chose their Hitachi 870 to make it fit in with my wheelloader and trucks.

Pictures of the machine can be found at Vario's website :)

Congratulations ! !
Let us know how long it takes to receive it and if you enjoy putting it together. It sure seems to be a real dirt moving machine...
Enjoy

Thanks guys :)

It's almost three weeks since I ordered it so it should not take so long to get it home now.
If I understood them correctly, it should be ready to ship next week :)

They sure do look good, going to have to save my pennies if I want to get one. Oh wait Canada just announced they will do away with the penny!

I serched like maniac for this square part on the engine, i was going to send Vario a mail and say that they have forgotten it. It struck me then that I had seen the sheet metal pieces elsewhere, but where??

http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...H/P4183524.jpg

Well inside the chassis, only took me an hour before I found out.

http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...H/P4183518.jpg

Hidden under the plate, and there it was.

Thanks everybody for nice comments :)

In order to attach the drive properly, I had to grind down a slight edge so that the gear in the gearbox went free.

Here it would have been a little more pictures but sometimes when things go well you forget :( In all cases the drivesystem are now fully assembled.
