Telescoping boom for crane
Has anyone used the telescoping tubing from Eagle Mouldings (link below) as a telescoping boom on a crane? How did it work? Any problems? Does it have to me manually extended or can it be extended with a motor or hydraulics?
I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks! Doug http://eaglemouldingsinc.com/TubingS...ularRound.aspx |

Re: Telescoping boom for crane
I bought telescoping tube from mcmaster-carr. had to build my own screw drive to move it but it fits great. Am using it for my tow truck build.
