Welcome aboard and a very nice video. Damatz looks real good. Ed

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Well I installed the Grapple from damitz today. Need a little longer hose for the grapple, but it worked pretty good.

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Great video angle. It looks very realistic. Do you have the size of hose you need? Pieco.ca is one "local" source for some hose and pneumatic fittings. If it is 2.5/4mm hose I have plenty if you need a small piece.

I would guess to say that I put 100 hours on mine this summer... That is cheap entertainment. I wish my wife and daughters could go out shopping for 100 hours and only run down some batterys....  greg |

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Right On
That hoe operator is a good one, he should look for work down South and get a job loading off highway trucks on the Island..hahhaha Whats the temp outside, it looks cold ? Almost had to chain the truck up to getrgoing.. greg |
Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Its pretty warm tonight, -5, a nice change from the -30... I tell my crew there is no work down south to keep them working up here, lol. Ya the tractor could use some chains and more weight on the drives.

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Kevin, great videos. After all this time I had no idea the videos I watched in the past, on youtube, were your's. I would just come across them during random searches, or through links from other people's videos. It's nice to know. I see you are running the off road tires on your Wedico. Are those Wedico sized, or Tamiya sized on some of Ric's rims? I know they offer these tires in in both sizes.
That Damtiz excavtor seems to have no lack of power, and has some really good cycle times too. Impressive. I've always liked those excavators, but I hear the track motors and boom/dipper/ bucket functions, in combination can slow the model (hyrdo pump) down. Any thoughts on that? |

You are correct about the track motors being slow, other than that, it is/has been bullet proof. |
Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
The Lowboy made it from down south with the D8R! Got her unloaded and straight to work.

Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Good to see you in the hobby again Kevin, do you have much time off these days? Or just during break-up?
|
Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Looking good Kevin.
Glad to see the crew is getting back to work, its been to long.... Congrats on the new addition to the family, son or daughter ? Eather way, they will be a good addition to the crew. I sent some track tensioners to your business address. My cell phone crashed and I lost all contact numbers so if you could pm me it. Thx greg |
Re: Construction Equipment and Videos
Hey Joe, hardly any time off this year, been building gear like crazy, trying to find hands and so on. We have been very busy considering how wet it has been. How's the crops doing out your way?
Hey Greg, got your package today, thanks! Had a son so he should be part of the crew soon enough. |
