awesome looking Loader Steve , wonderful job so far can't wait to see more. on a side note I would really like to have thouse rims from that Knight hauler they would look great on my Autocar lol

thanks I'll be getting to them soon enough ;) those are my 1st and will be hard to part with since they hand carved in hard brass :eek: I think thats why the bearings are just about shot in my dremel :eek:

some more parts came in from the shop :rolleyes: 12#counter weight :eek: Z link piviot . since I was snaping picks I through a 36"ruler in the pic for size ( 31.5" long from back of counter weight to tooth tip on spade bucket . #30" with std. GP bkt.) I hope these pics are better :confused: .

Thanks guys :) yes it's getting bigger and packing on the pounds :eek: up next will be new axles ;) I was going to go with what I have for now :confused: but after puting the counter weight on , I think I better make them now :rolleyes: I got some good picks of how the rear axle pivoit is , so I'll be making that more scale also . stay tuned :D

snuck in the drop box and motor mount today :o Using a manual speed control (MSC) :p I did a speed test of course it's always dark till I get to take a vid :o:(
FWIW , plenty of room yet to put pump and valves ,etc.;) also , motor is from a 24v dewalt 2 spd. hammer/drill .

bet I could ;):D it has enough torq and the right weight with the teeth , that drywall is a gonner . yea kids bruder I need to get all I have started at least working before I dive into the excavator I have planned ;)

Wow, that's a nice looking loader. You sure have some talent at building. Did you ever get your hydaulic pump going or are you building another one? Will you buy or make cylinders? I think you said on your Mack, another great project, that your cylinders did not work out. Did you ever think about just buying a longer air cylinder, cut it to length and then make new ends. That way you get a finished bore and rod assembly that you know will work. You would only need seals and bushing for the rod end.

Rich , I had trouble on the tele cylinders for the mack only do to not enough time on them :( (rushing :o) what I have now acctually works better anyways . I'll be making these ( walk in the park ) I even found actual wiper seals that'll work for the size . I have a couple pumps from index to play around with . 2 have motors on them . the problem with these is the magnetic coupling which is no problem to change (again , lathe time :confused: the mill always is ready for more work for some reason :rolleyes:) ) I still have a sickle set of gears like what the jung pump uses , that I need to make a housing for .
