PMD tranny in globeliner

I am having problems with the pmd tranny because my motor is spinning, the first driveshaft is spinning, but the rear driveshaft from the pmd unit back to the wheels is not moving. If I move the wheels with my hand, the rear drive shaft will move. Is there something going on within the unit?

I am guessing u have a 4:1 reduction transmission? If so try flipping it around u might have it installed backwards. If no fix let me know.

Turns out that one of my grub screws were not tightened enough. It works fine now but I am not happy with how the pmd 4:1 is working along with the stock 3 speed. It takes several tries to get it to go into reverse, and the stock tranny makes noise before it engages a gear. It never did that before.

You have an issue with the 3 speed and from what your describing it is with the shift servo and your end point settings. The GRU will have no effect on the trans all it will do is slow the truck down.
