Wow that King looks awesome, nice paint. What trailer kit is that? Is it extended in length? Looks like a 53ft trailer. That mack is also badass. Great job on it. Did you make tge mack cab yourself?

Great trucks, is the Mack scratch built out of styrene ? You on the East or West side of Canada ?

Hi, thanks for all your comments.....to answer some of the questions ....lol.....
the reefer trailer is scratch biult and running on tamiya gear, it is a true to scale 53ft reefer which measures 43.5 inches.
The mack cab came from a friend of mine who has set himself up doing tamiya and scatch biulds. he holds the patent for the cab and a pod just like the one from convoy. If i am allowed to put his website on here i will do for anyone who wishes to contact him over the mack cab. Th sleeper pod on the back of mine is indeed statch biult from styrene as is the rear fenders on both trucks.
Finally sorry im not from canada but from England. but i do have a brother living in east canada who i will be visiting next year

Very interesting on the Mack cab! I would say have your friend contact us ( one of the mods) here and he can sign up for a vender spot. I'm sure he can do well with Mack cabs! Thanks!

I highly suggest your friend become a vendor here, he will do pretty well with that cab. I would love to build a trailer like yours, i just dont know what I need. I need to look into this further.

looks really good!

take it you're a fellow canadian?

Re: My Winter Project part 1

The reason people think you are in Canada is the Canadian flag on the fridge unit of your reefer trailer and the "R.T.S Heavy Haulage Canada" on the side of the Mack Sleeper. Maybe you should add your location to your profile.

And once again, great work!

Re: My Winter Project part 1

So is your friend, who builds these Mack cabs, from England too?

I never heard of anyone putting a patent on a model truck cab before. Seems rather impossible to do. Does that mean no one else can ever try building one of their own, as he could claim they are trying to copy it? You can only build a Mack cab like this one way. Anything anyone builds to match the real truck is going to be a copy now.

I could maybe understand the patent covering his one piece mold injected process and die, if that's how he makes them, but patenting a model, which is not licensed in the first place seems really conceited and backwards.
