Bonding Agent for Aluminum - Who did I talk to at Indy?

Guess I overloaded my brain by trying to meet everyone I could at Indy this year. So, who did I talk to about the bonding agent used on their aluminum dump trailer? Similiar to silicone, applied with a standard caulking gun, exposed material was a silvery-color easily removed, and cleaned up with water. I think it had a number like "9300" in it's name, but not sure now. Would appreciate a shout-back.

Thanks!

Ken

Ken

Don't feel bad. Same thing happened to me last year at my first show:eek::o
I'd imagine it takes a couple shows to stop the brain overload factor of it all.:D

I'm sure whoever you spoke to will chime in eventually, who knows how often they check in?

Are you guys talking about 3M Scotch-Weld 9300 B/A FST? It's an aircraft bonding agent for aluminum. Two part epoxy.

No Nathan we had talked about that but Ken is recalling what I used on my dump trailer to bond it all together. It is simply an epoxy that needs no mixing and is used on full size trailers for bonding panels on to the trailers and keeping them together. It is almost as strong as Scotch-Weld but requires no mixing and is much easier to work with.

Tyler bumped my brain and helped me out. The product is GeoBond Pur50. Go to their website - Geocelusa.com - and click at near the top for Where To Buy. His trailer is really clean looking, without visible screw heads in the liner.

Thanks to him for sharing the info.
