Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
So this is my wheelloader, i buildt it last year in March. I dont post all pics here, there is almost 150. Link to all of them http://s1089.photobucket.com/albums/...66G/?start=all
When everything was unpacked i was thinking "wtf is this it cant be a loader" it turned out i was wrong :D Some pics of the build http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3042351.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3052359.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3052370.jpg Cheted a little bit. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3052378.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3062388.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3062389.jpg Alongside the Sania t-cab hevyhauler. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3062392.jpg Call me crazy but I threw out all wdc electronics in the trash before I even tested it. I changed it to Servonaut instead. Here is the SMX soundmodule, i now its wrong but i just have to have the Scania V8 sound with a screaming turbocharger :) http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3202427.jpg S20 (ESC) and BMA (hydraulic ESC) http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3202429.jpg First testdrive outside. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3262438.jpg More to come... |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Nice loader and nice photos.
Question: My Friends's Wedico Loader has 4 tiny screws that hold each wheel to the axle and in your photo it looks like there is one bolt holding the wheel on? is that true? |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Thanks :)
There are 10 small screws that hold the rims together and one bigger in the middle that holds the entire wheel in place. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P3062396.jpg |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Thanks, they must have changed that on the newer loaders.

Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
The hose holder idea is cool. The lines on my 2 lift cylinders are the only hoses I have problems with getting pinched.

Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
I got my quickcoupler today, i'm really happy with it :)
From the rear http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163168.jpg side http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163169.jpg a little strang angle  http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163170.jpg front http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163171.jpg topview http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163172.jpg underside http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163173.jpg and here are the brackets to the bucket and to extra accessories. The one for the bucket is on the left. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163174.jpg Testmount on the machine http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163175.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163176.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163178.jpg Servoholder http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163180.jpg this little arm is gonna be attached to the servohorn, it will certainly be a great fun to mount it. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163181.jpg A little better view. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/P2163182.jpg |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Looks like a nice setup. Who makes the quick attach system? Or is it custom?

Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Changing the drivetrain in a CAT isn't as easy at it seams :p
Motor is nearly in place just a few millimeters lower. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054315.jpg Front driveshaft is to high up as you can see in this picture. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054316.jpg Put the pump in to see if it works as i thougt. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054317.jpg Filter in the same place as original just put it on the other side. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054318.jpg Valves at the back of the machine. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054319.jpg I can now put un twin NiMh or one bigger 3s LiPo battery. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054320.jpg As you can see NiMh is a bit higher than the LiPo battery. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA054325.jpg |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Done just a little bit more today.
Split the original holder for pump in two pieces so i don't have to make a new holder for the hood. Here is th right side. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084328.jpg Not much left of the leftside. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084332.jpg I placed the valve as high and far back as i could. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084327.jpg Filter hanging upside down. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084329.jpg This is how it looks under the hood rigt now, it's not easy to take a good picture on this. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084333.jpg Got to fix the twisted hoses :p http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...G/PA084330.jpg |
Re: Wedico CAT 966G II to Sweden
Looking good. It will be interesting to see what you think of the new drive train!
