Looking for info on an Old Truck

1 Attachment(s)
My Dad sent me this photo of an Old Butlers Bros. logging truck. It was used for a short period of time on the West coast of Canada until it was decided the braking system wasn't up to the steep hills carved out for most logging settings. He had an opportunity to drive the truck and is now looking for info or photographs showing details like drivetrain and framework. Our historical society is rumoured to have some schematics of it, and we are going through documents to try and find them.

If we can gather enough information on it he is looking to model it in 1/12th scale to match his other machines.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you can get your hands on a copy of Working in the woods, there is one picture end one page of detail about the trucks. Said the first one cost $50,000, and was built by Barney Oldfield. Wasn't he a famous racer.

Well we found a set of working drawings for the truck and my dad had them scaled to 1"=1'. Working off actual size plans looks like it should be fairly straight forward. Now comes the fun part. Trying to scavange parts to make it operational.
This time we are going Radio Control instead of tethered.
