SAL45 Cascadia First build
Finally, got my 1st truck and I can't believe how big this truck is! I was used to crawlers but wow! This truck is a lot bigger then I was expecting!
Nothing too crazy....yet. ;) Simple out-of-the-box build up. Ordered bearings that should be here today. So I will have to go back in and add them. I was too excited to wait! I wanted to see how it would all go together first. From all the reading I have done on these boards, it looks like bearings are really only needed in certain places. Wheels and axles for sure, and gearbox on main shaft ends. Now the hardest part is trying to figure out how to paint it. Been looking at lots of truck pics to get some ideas, but nothing appeals to me yet. Only thing I have done so far, is paint the inside of the body black. http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/...psv91az1fu.jpg http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/...psoafl0zpc.jpg http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/...psr1vbqgnb.jpg |
