379 logos for peterbuilts

Has anyone ever produced a 379 hood badge for the 1/14th scale trucks? I work for a CAT dealer and there was a beautiful 379 Pete in the truck shop today. The guys in the shop have seen my rig and asked if I had a 379 logo for it? That's what got me wondering ??
Anyone out there up for it?

Mario

If the truck is there tommorow I will take a pic and show what I mean.

Now I'm confused, I thought everybody knew about the Peterbilt emblems and Mario was looking for 379 emblems, am I missing something?

Re: 379 logos for peterbuilts

No, not missing anything. I'm talking bout 379 logo, not the peterbuilt logos on PMD. I rechecked the site, no 379 logos.

You could always try and make a decal of it. Wouldn't quite be the same as a badge but would still look pretty neat. I might have to play around with that idea

If I'm not mistaken the only 379 logo is the 379X logo. I've never seen just a 379?

My 379 only has the 3 hood badges and the dealer badge on the kick panel

Re: 379 logos for peterbuilts

heres the badge I'm talkin bout. Its a shame that reduced to 1/14 scale you would need a electron microscope to read it!
I'm really liking the 379 as a 3 dimensional badge instead of a sticker.
the truck in the pic has this badge on the hood under the air cleaners and on the back corner of the sleeper. the pic is obviously the sleeper, the hood was up. the truck is in for a scheduled bearing roll by the way, not a premature failure of anything...... lol

of course i will post pics of truck once the hoods down and ready to roll :D

IT'S possible ;) but the words " model" and "legacy class edition" will not come out to well . although , I could do a negative of the raised lettering :scratch chin: I gotta figure how to get my speed up over 10,000 rpm

Call me crazy but I think these would sell like hotcakes!
Steve, if you think it's possible, it can happen.
I have seen many variations of the logo on various Pete 379's . Anyone got more versions to post?
It must be the use of the word " Legacy class " that has me loving this badge? :D

there's 1 lil glitch to a production scale of producing these :( (Paccar) If that emblem is licensed under their name , no . 1 or 2 like I did for Ben's oshkosh, I'll do , to help some get that special look someone wants . licensing can get expensive :(

Ohhh yeah, forgot bout that. Funny, just been talking about high cost of licensing fees on another thread....
I thought of it ! I get first dibs on the one off production right? LMAO

Thanks Steve.
