2014 club meet
 

We are planning a club meet for a weekend in May 2014. The location is still up in the air, if you would like to participate let us know. Depending on where everyone is coming from, maybe this help decide the location.

We normally meet in the suburbs of Detroit it changes from time to time. If there is enough interest maybe we can have one south of Detroit so people around Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois don't have as far of a drive.

I think we are going to get together Saturday the 16th. It will be held in Emmett which is about 25 miles west of Port Huron. We have access to sand and if the weather doesn't cooperate we can run in the pole barn. I'm planning to cook burgers on the grill for lunch. I would like to go over ideas for the truck show in September.

I may come(thanks for the pm jakebrake, just haven't been on lately) things it depends on if i get truck done how close gf is to having kid and if hopefully new job works me a bit so i can get some money. Which in turn sucks that its so far away (2 hours just by looking up the town)

No problem, we will have more get togethers. We try to change locations sometimes so the same people don't always have the long drive. This one falls close for our friends in Canada if any of them would like to join us.

Randy, I think it's about an hour and a half from Lansing.

Yeah, about 100 and I'll be there by the looks of it. Glad I glanced in this section when I did, haven't met anyone with or seen any other rigs in person except mine.

Good catch Randy, the get together is May 17th. I'm not sure what I was looking at.

At this time - looks like I could attend.

Is it just the one day?

Btw - I am buying the bridge, dock and box from Blueshirt. Unfortunately I do not have any crushed rubber at this time.

That's great news Izzy,

I'd love to see some of the old guys come to the meet. LOL

As of right now it is only Saturday. I'm planning to everything ready Friday night.

That bridge and dock will be great to have, I remember them to be very well built!!!

As for this meet I have plenty of sand and pea pebble, I don't know if my screener will be ready, but we have conveyors. Also the sand is spread out, so I'm planning to have a ramp to drive down in the area like a real gravel pit.

Should be a lot of fun

Sounds like it will be a good time. Please PM me the address so that I can plug it in to my GPS. I probably will bring just 1 vehicle as most of my stuff is for highway driving plus I need to get some stick time on the dump truck.

Whats the address to the meet? is it indoor? out door? Im up in the air if I can make the treck or not. Its a little over 5 hrs from me but I may do it if I get out of work early on Friday. May drive over Friday night sped the night and then head home sat afternoon.

We will be both indoors (pole barn) and out doors (big sand area) if the weather permits. Either way we have plenty of room to run. I will be out there both Friday night and early Saturday morning. We will also do hamburgers and people are welcome to bring chips or some kind of side. I'll pm you the address.
