Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi All
I have three Grill templates available to suit the King Hauler at this time but I am working on others. If you have an idea PM me as I will do custom one off Grill designs. All Grills are made from Marine Grade Aluminium and with a bit of work polish up like chrome. I make the Grills in two stages, mill finished or fully polished. All grills come with 5 M3 threaded sockets (unless otherwise stated) to mount to the King Hauler Hood in the original position (you will need to obtain the screws to suit as they will be the M3 machine screw not the self tapping kit ones) Below are the three grills that I am currently making: Freightliner Made from 8mm Aluminium Mill Finish - $30AUD Polished Finish - $40AUD http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...ll-45deg-1.jpg Western Star - Constellation series Made from 8mm Aluminium Mill Finish - $30AUD polished Finish - $40AUD http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...Grill-Late.jpg White Western Star - Mid 70's Style Made from 2mm Aluminium, this is secured to the hood using either double sided tape or glued on, it is smaller in size than the actual grill and too thing to tap. Mill Finish - $20AUD Picture to be posted soon. More to come.......... Cheers Paul |

Thanks Paul Wayne |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi Wayne
Glad you like them, thanks for the feedback Enjoy Paul |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
The freightliner grill is beautiful and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were already drilled and set to bolt right on to the king hauler cab. Will post pics when I get it mounted to the new daycab along with the new headlights.

Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi All
A new addition, a Pete 362 Grill I have made this 2mm thick so it will sit flush with the cab face if you run a piece of styrene behind it as a mounting point. It is fully Polished and has Stainless Steel mesh to finish it off in the two openings. I will post a picture of one I have completed soon. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...erbuilt362.jpg Below is an update to the Late Model Western Star Grill This one will require the hood to be flattened down to meet the grill and give it the classic Western Star 4864 look http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...4800Grill3.jpg Both are $40 polished Cheers Paul |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi All
Finished making the Grills posted above Peterbilt 362 - Still to have the SS mesh fitted to it and the owner will polish it. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...141002_007.jpg Early White Road Boss / Western Star Grill ready to be mounted to the Hood http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...141002_003.jpg Late Model Western Star 4800/4900 Constellation Series Grill - with this one, the top of the Hood needs to be lowered and flattened off like the 1:1 is. - it can be made to suit the King Hauler Hood Shape if it is preferred. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...141002_004.jpg |

Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi all
below are a couple of designs I have done and it would be really good to get some feedback I have been asked to do a grill for a KW W900 and a Western Star 4900 series but both are to fit the Hood with the original mounting and no Hood mods, The previous Western Star 4800 series I did was a scale size and the owner will modify the Hood to suit. Please provide some feedback, good or bad, this is how we get better Cheers Paul 1st: KW W900 http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...W900GrillF.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...hW900Grill.jpg 2nd: WS 4900 http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...4900GrillF.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...r4900Grill.jpg |

Re: Billet Aluminium Grills

|
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi, no sorry, no KW Grills have been requested so I have not made any, if you want one send me a PM and I'll design what you want.
Cheers Paul |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Any chance of making a KW grill based on the "Movin On" truck?
|
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Yes, no problem
I will draw it up and post a preview here and if you decide you want one just PM me. Cheers |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Here is a quick design I have just done, its a basic three bar W900 Grill, I think the Emblem boss could be a little bigger, just needs mesh added to the back to finish it off.
This will replace the KH grill with no Hood modifications, to get the true shape you would need to modify your Hood but I can make one to suit if you wanted it to be scale. If anyone would like to have one made just PM me. $40AUD plus postage. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps61c97809.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps2283319d.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps17102479.jpg |

Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
HI Paul,
Are you still making these grills? And if so, do you ship to Canada? And if so, any idea how much for a KW W900 grill and will it fit the Knight Hauler hood? thank you, |
Re: Billet Aluminium Grills
Hi Cummins1962
Yes, still making Grills, bumpers and almost anything else you can think of. Canada is no problem, sent a few orders over there already, takes about 2 weeks. Just FYI to all, I have now sent out to the UK, Germany, USA, Canada and Australia so I could say that any country should not be a problem. I always send by registered post and have not lost a shipment yet. Most countries take around 2-3 weeks (Aussie is 1 week) Let me know this week if you want one as I will be shutting down for about a month as I'm moving house and I have to pack up the Garage and this will take me a fair bit of time, already have the better half reminding me what a big job its going to be. Any order that I have taken will be completed and posted out but I wont take any orders after Friday this week. Thanks Paul Rest assured I will have it all up and running again in no time. |
