Hi

Hi my name is Alan and I live next to Newcastle in the uk . I have Been a long time admirer of this site and I have eventually plucked up the courage to join. I have been into construction vehicles ever since I was about 10 years old (now 43) going to work with my dad in the school holidays. He used to drive 4x2 tipper truck. It was a dodge 500 series I even remember the reg number " Lft316J" I can vivadlly remember an old oily rag wrapped round the gearstick to stop the diesel fumes coming in . When I went to the united states on holiday about 7 years ago I spent hours on end at the side if the highways taking photos of the fantastic trucks over there. I much prefer them to the uk ones. So when I seen the tamiya ones I said to myself I have to get one of those. So I ordered a globe liner, then a flatbed to go with it. Soon after I bought a king hauler, then a semi trailer for that, which made me realise that the flatbed was far to short so I made that into a tipper, and I have now bought a knight hauler and done that like a carlile ice road truck, now I have to decide what trailer to get that. Sorry for waffling on. And I will look into posting some photos
