Say hello to "CHAMPAGNE WISHES"

Well, well, well, here is my Cascadia, "CHAMPAGNE WISHES". I'm getting this ready for Indy, and moving along pretty good. I stretched the frame 4", and cut the skirts down that goes along the bottom. I also dropped an LRP truck puller motor for more torque and to slow the truck down. I am going to add full aluminum fenders above the rear axles, and I got lucky enough to buy two of FGD's storage boxes to mount on the frame. When I get my gloss clear coat pearl, I can finish the body. And I'm painting the frame metallic red. OK, here are some pic's.

I forgot to mention, I'm putting a 48' scale spread axle flatbed behind her.

Thanx for looking, Big John

Hey big John now you need to build a nice black rig to match her "cavier dreams". Nice build bud, looking good so far.

I like that idea, and I do have a King Hauler waiting to be built. But I have other plans for it. Now another Cascadia would be cool.

Thanx buddy, Big John

Looking good John, hope to see it at the show. I'm glad you stretched it, Tamiya did a nice job on this model except for the frame length. With all of them we've run through our shop I've never seen one with that size cab be that short.

Thanx buddy.:) I almost left it stock length, but I couldn't leave it alone. And you are right, Tamiya did the truck justice, except for the length.:cop:

It's been a while, but I wanted to show the truck almost done. I need to tidy up the wires, put larger storage boxes on, mount the c.b., and I think she will be done. The trailer will have LED's...I need more:rolleyes::rolleyes: Here are some pic's.

John I personally hate the generic fleet trucks that seem to cover the roadways now a days, but you did what usually isn't done. Turn a run of the mill cookie cutter fleet truck into a stand out owner operators style rig that draws attention and looks legit. The trailer looks awesome too. We need some pics of that baby hooked up. Great job big man.

Thank you for the flowers buddy.:D:D:D I didn't want this to look like a fleet truck, and as most of you know I like to be different. I will try for some outside pic's with the trailer hooked up.:p;)
