New Bruder!

I just got these little beauties in the mail from a good buddy. I will be converting them very soon.

I have to say that I am really impressed with the detail on these. I guess it should be expected since Bruder always makes nice stuff. I'm not sure if anyone has done one of these yet as they have just became available recently. I would guess that someone has but it will be a first for me. Pretty cool how you can run it with a smooth roller or the other way. The front blade is also pretty cool! I see a Firgelli making quick work of that!

Thats awesome REG, I guess me and you will be working on them together, I too have started this conversion, I can never have enough cats in my fleet lol.... It will be interesting to see how we both go about it on this conversion, Im sure your metal work will far exceed mine lol, but you cant blame a man for trying....:bounce:

I'm sure you will have yours done long before these are Brian. I think a few other people will be head hunting for me if I don't finish up some other stuff first.lol I am excited to dig into them though. I don't see the "need" for much metal work although I can imagine using the cab only and having one heck of a good metal compactor!

Re: New Bruder!

The tires are the same as on the 574 loader. It's a decent size I think.

Definitely a decent size if same as 574. Just what I need for road work!
I like the idea of just using the shell on top of a metal frame work. Hmmmm, I think this would be a great, simple metal job for me to try. :bounce:
Solid rear axle, pivot point between drum and frame, metal can filled with BBs......thanks Reg for some more bad influence. :).
I got a new winter project that might jump to the top of the list now:D

At that size I'd say that's a CS 563D compactor.

Wow! When did these come out Reg? I'll be getting one of these....I need a smooth drum roller! Are you planning on using an aluminum drum and some real rubber on the rear? That's my plan.

Re: New Bruder!

It will be a bit before I start on these but I will post pics of my progress so people know what not to do.lol

I think they are just "rolling" out now Ben:lol:. I know, so funny:rolleyes:. I can't really say as these were bought and sent to me so I don't even know where they were purchased. As far as I know some people are still waiting for them to come into stock at certain locations. I'm not sure if we will be putting rubber tires on them or not. It wouldn't hurt but may not be in the budget. A metal drum isn't a bad idea either as it would add weight without having to fill the plastic one. I guess we'll see when I get to them.

Re: New Bruder!

that looks awesome,
bruder has some realy nice details in their models
I may have to get one and use it to upgrade my hobby engine roller.
I made a metal frame and dropped the cab on to it. but the bruder will make it look way better.
