Tamiya 3348 - how to change to 6x6

I picked up a new Tamiya 3348. I was wondering if anyone had a parts list to convert it to 6x6.

The simplest and cheapest way possible.

I saw some Hercules Hobby parts but i'm not sure if this fits. They really do not put much detail on their parts and not having a website for Hercules sucks. Cannot talk to them directly.

Here's what I found:

I believe most of the all-driven conversions used to use a Tamiya TLT front axle, rear inner-dually rims for the steer wheels.

Sometimes add a t-case behind 3spd gearbox, slight trans lift and push to side to get driveshaft into frame.
Sometimes change a shaft in 3spd gearbox to add front output.
Sometimes just change to a rock-crawler dual output trans

I know there are several 6x6, 8x8 trucks around here, maybe someone already has an Arocs built?

I've seen a few done. The guys usually have spare parts on hand and modify with what they have. That's great when you have a stock pile but really not good if you have to buy the parts.

Most do not remember what they put in. I'm basically looking for someone who can say that they put part #'s XXx, xx2,etc..

I sort of do not want to spend 300$ on parts I don't need :)

I picked up a TLT-1 front axle. It's a beginning.

Can you get enough traction just starting with Locked axles or Limited-slip?
Do you want to keep the 3-spd?
Do you want to be Full-time driven or Selectable front drive?

There's a lot more info here over in the area for offroad 6x6, 8x8, 10x10...

https://magomhrc.com sells a conversion

Since the Mercedes Benz AROCS is Cab-over, it's probably going to be more difficult than Conventional. Also you'll probably need to do a some body-lift and trimming mount plates
