I bought this truck in my 20s. I am now 47. Through all of you all's posts an threads. I was interested in the hobby again. It has taken me about a year and a half to do this truck. A little here a little there but finally close to being done. Still want to add a few tweaks. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thank you. An to answer your question. The truck was bought from tower hobbies in 1992 1993 an was put together an played with an put on a shelf an left alone until 2014. I tore it apart an started over. Then built the trailer from scratch an to 1/14 scale. The electronics an radio were all replaced. The technology now is so much better. Thanks again for your comments.

Love the color, it looks really good. Any plans to put anything in the trailer? Thanks for sharing.

My king hauler was built in 1993 and is still the original Tamiya yellow paint the original owner painted it, but I enjoy the patina on it as it gives it the feel of a real working class old school classic truck I was going for.

That is a great looking truck and trailer, it's hard to believe it's 20 years old. I guess I've got some trucks that are 13 year old as well. LOL Man life has flown by.

Was great talking to you at the show. Sorry you were having issues with your truck. I got to thinking your MFU might have been going into thermal shutdown. The old motor could be the culprit. Like Ed and I were say trying a 55turn motor a d if that don't work look into a gear reduction unit. I run 55t motors in both my trucks and have no issues it don't load them down much. I have ran an GRU before and they give you a ton of torque and low end grunt.
