Forum Veterans?

What happened to all of the forum veterans? I have been here for 11 months now and it seems like very few of the people who were posting when I joined are active anymore. I won't name anyone because I don't want any personal "stuff" to happen. But you guys are the ones who built this community, and I know you didn't quit building. I as well as others look forward to your builds, ideas and suggestions.

Just wondering.

Chris

Most of the time real life gets in the way for people and the hobby comes 2nd or the need to stop modeling for a while and recharge the batteries.........

Cheers Tracy

I've been a member on here now for a few years and seen a lot of amazing builders going on building sprees and then fall off for a few months ...they always seem to come back eventually. What I've come to notice is that the weather is beautiful outside for summer, so people stop building a lot. Once it's cold and everyone's forces back in doors for majority of there time the new builds explode on here. Just wait for the indoor seasons. Just what I have noticed on here in the past few years.

We are here it is just some of our builds are not realy new just different so we don't post them all. Some of us also build trucks for others and they like to keep the build quiet untill it is taken to its first show. Some are busy getting ready for Indy and some just slow down for the summer.

Cool, like I said I was just wondering.

Hoping to make it to Indy next year (with a trailer too). Ex-wife payments end in 10 months, so $500 a month toward my toys!!!!!

I know I've been part of the club for over a decade. Lately I'm working on the West Coast Mini Truckers website, YouTube, FB, R/C Universe, & just joined Instagram. Learning how to use all of these sites and get the most from them is time consuming. Boy, when I started I thought it would be a little time consuming, but with the more I learn, the more I respect the Admin & Moderators on this site.

Re: Forum Veterans?

nothing new on the drawing board here. Work has been getting in the way of building trucks and I tend to float around with my Hobbies anyways. Between RC trucks, Ho scale trains, RC cars, Hot rods and home repairs it kinda just goes in waves on what I like to do. I did make it to the Indy show but to be honest I had not turned a wrench on any of my rigs sence the last show I attended back in early spring,
