331 Tanker
 

So I've been working on building a 331 tanker used to haul liquified gasses like propane and many other things. This is a slow build not much home time as I pull one of these trailers at work. Well this is what I got done so far

Looks great, and gives me a few ideas for the tanker I'm planning to build. I'm planning on using 6" PVC, but might use 4" instead, not sure yet. I will be following this build for sure, thanks for sharing.

Thanks... The fenders came from PMD. The front fenders are the tri axle with the front cut off.

Very nice! I see you got a nice base to play with and build now. I'm looking at building a set of these. My Dad pulled them around for 20 years, different setups and whatnot and I just have a softspot for these. Any plans on the bullet ends?

I'm still working on the bullet ends been messing around with balls cut into two pieces but I still have a little way before I get to them..

Have you tried Plastrut in California I get pipe ends from them for 1/13.7 scale tank cars . Mike

Funny I had always seen Plastruct products in my LHS but it was always for such small scales, I never checked out their catalog. They have nice dome and elliptical ends in very large sizes.

The ends are on time to start with the landing gears, piping, bumpers and everything else
