King Hauler driveshaft length?
I'm sitting here in my truck wanting to purchase a driveshaft from RC4WD but I don't know which one to get. All I know is I need one that will fit over the 5mm output shaft. I'm thinking the 5.7" - 7" one will work, but I'm not sure.
So anyone know the right one to buy, or the length of the stock driveshaft? My stock one slips/jams up at times because I took off the "shocks" on my drives for more articulation. |
Re: King Hauler driveshaft length?
Check out this thread for an inexpensive way of making your own shafts.
http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...read.php?t=708 You can also adjust the drive cups on the axle and transmission so there is very little fore/aft play in the shaft when all tires are flat on the bench, then see what you get when you flex the suspension and readjust accordingly. :) |
Re: King Hauler driveshaft length?
yeah i've already read that thread a couple days ago. Pretty cool.
Also good idea with adjusting the cups, I hadn't thought of that. I mainly want to buy something so when I get hometime I can pop it in, and go play :D |
