what esc ?
 
Hi all

I am new to the rc truck world and have just purchased a tamiya r620 and am trying to find out the best and most suitable esc for my truck and also what servos u all using .

i ran viper marine 15's ntill they started craping out
now im using $10.00 hobbykin 45 amp esc
for servos spektrum s6020 for steering . dont
shift gears

Everybody will have different preferences....

I have Tamiya's MFC-01 in both my trucks which has an integrated ESC. For servos, I have Hitec 645MG for steering and Futaba S3003 or S3004 for everything else. Many people have the gear shift on a 3-way switch but I prefer to use the shift gate as per standard build to prevent changing gear when the motor is applying torque, to reduce stress on gearbox parts and servo
