Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR
It' s a quite new model and I haven't seen any in operation, or seen any reviews. see they have a new dozer out also. Same fabricator as the 'KAT' excavator, that are in aluminium. I would say it's good if it's all steel, which make it more sturdy. It's a good price, one does not take any big risk cost vice. The 'biggest issue' here is probably the hydraulics, one should not have to high expectations in this price range. Generally check all screws regarding hydraulic fittings and so on before first trial run...In this price range they don't spend too much time controlling and checking before shipment. Just drive on until things possible start leaking too much, and then replace it with e.g German hydraulics, like Leimbach (no point in putting too much energy in getting hydraulic replacement parts from the supplier, just go for better stuff at once from other sources. even if one have to put in another 5-600 USD to make it run great one still got a relative cheep machine)

Probably wouldn't be bad for a starter machine, learn how to work on, and learn the hydraulic system, but dosent look very detailed or strong in construction from the pictures I see.

Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR
does the scale really flush out to 1/12th? I am not sure what it should be for 1/12th scale.. but 22" long by 8" wide seems a bit smaller that 1/12 scale..
maybe one of you more experienced scale guys can comment!! It does look cool and I like the price... and for a starter may be just the thing for me too.... Regards, Jeff |

I think for the price I would add a Lil more money and get the magom looks more realistic and they have come a long way

Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR
It's a quite suitable size for the 1:Tamiya trucks it's seams out of the video. They can give the scale to whatever they want, it might be 1/12 of a original model XXX, but it's quite simplified and does not look like any specific original model, so difficult to 'arrest' them when it comes to scale) Maybe these Chinese companies mainly just put 1/12 to make their models seam 'bigger and better' than the 'small' 1:14 stuff, that they are designed to work along with) Who knows..well, it doesn't matter, can't complain about the price at least)

Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR
Is there any information on the drive train. Track loaders and wheel loaders in general need to have specific gear ratio to make driving into piles of material and ripping up dirt effective. It does look very nice in my opinion.
