Hello from Australia

Hello,
Liam here from Brisbane, Australia
I have been reading the forum for a while, there are some awesome builds people have come up with as well as the different ways to get past their road blocks along the way.
I have had a bit of everything rc, but have only had to fix them haha.
I haven't had much to do with the construction or trucking side of the hobby.
As a starter project I am converting a bruder delta loader.
To drive the motors in the tamiya twin motor gearbox, i am looking at using a sabertooth controller. The question I have is would a 2x5 work or would it need more amps like a 2x12?

Cheers
Liam

Welcome to the forum. I will let some of the more experienced members handle your technical question. I'm curious about your forum name - komatsu97. Do you work for the dealer in Australia? I always keep an eye out for Komatsu references since I work for the dealer in Indiana & Kentucky.

Ken,
My Dad's side of the family runs komatsu excavators and have for as long as I can remember. I am a third year diesel fitter apprentice, and have worked on many machines from mini excavators to piling rigs, so I can appreciate the quirks of each manufacturer. However I have always liked the look of the colour and shape of the older Komatsu machines, I guess I may be biased or at least influenced:rolleyes: hahaha
But to answer your question, no I dont work for a dealer
Cheers,
Liam

Interesting! I think a bit like you concerning some of the older machines. While more advanced, many of the manufacturers have machines that resemble each other, color and graphics being the distinguishing item. Kind of like many of the cars today, paint them all the same color, remove the emblems and many look alike.

Take care.

Ken
