Re: Large scale

The black Peterbilt is actually on youtube too. I've seen some other 1/4 scale Peterbilts built as well. I don't remember the site, but the guy built a red day cab, matching lowboy, and I think a Caterpillar dozer too. D9, I want to say? Pretty amazing stuff. I have also seen some videos on youtube with some 2 stroke powered European trucks, about 1/4 scale as well. If I'm not mistaken, there is also an 1/8 scale Peterbilt kit out there too. German manufacturer?

Re: Large scale

what are these large scale rigs powered with??
Electric motor with battery?

It would be kool if they had a little Kubota diesel powering them...

There that guy in franfe with that amazing 1:10 or 1:8 Scale red 379 Pete that he attached a bar stool to the fifth wheel and rides it and also made a trailer for it. There is also a Canadian trucking company in Quebec that made an exact replica of there Kw W900 with matching tanker. Its a little diesel motor with a three speed trans if im not mistaken. Now I gotta find it
