Re: Low load step deck
Nice job, were did you get the trailer tires?
|
Re: Low load step deck
Nice Freddy
You sure make working with stirine look easy. Those trailers must scrub the tires off easy with that long distance between them ? greg |
Re: Low load step deck
Looks really good, Fred. You sure made some progress with that thing, despite being busy starting this forum up about the same time! None the less, it looks fantastic!

Re: Low load step deck
Thats one nice trailer!!!

Re: Low load step deck
Really great, as usual. When you step-cut the frame rails and bent the flanges to match the angle cut, how did you secure the flange to the rail...super glue, aluminum solder, other?
Looking forward to meeting you at Indy. Ken Sharp |
Re: Low load step deck
I really like this one Freddy, it's comin out awesome!!! It reminds me of a Doonan drop that i pulled a few times for an outfit i used to work for, It had the sliding rear axle and 17.5" wheels.
Say speakin of that sliding rear axle, as much as you like all your trick little mechanical bits and what not, you outta make that rear axle slide on this one, eh??:D The one I pulled was similar to this: http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/w...cks/doonan.jpg |
