Checking in from greater Cleveland, OH. I've been building rc scale boats for over 35 years. I've had a few rc cars over that time. My most recent rc truck is an amphibious 6x6, the DUKW. The DUKW is a 1:10 scale semi kit from Dean's Marine. I modified the model to represent a unit used by the USCG. The model is 6 wheel drive with Robbe diffs. The front wheel steering and water rudder servos are connected by a y-harness. Two 12V motors provide the power, one for the road wheels, second one for the prop.

Welcome. That DUKW would fit in at the RC boat pond this January at the Cabin Fever Expo. I don't think anybody has had a DUKW at this show in the past. I think I saw a Amphicar scale model swimming around in the pond before.
