Truck to trailer plugs

Hello all . I am courious to know if any of you guys have any ideas to get rid of the big grey plug and cable and use something a little more realistic to run the wires to the trailer.

You have 6 wires to deal with so you could use some deans micro plugs but you would need two three wire plugs or three two wire, or two four wire and have two extra connections for future addons.

Thank you for your response, I was thinking of something like a s video cconnector plug on the trailer and running the cable from the tractor to the trailer unlike the tamiya light wire

You could always go with an IR system.. I have 2 and they work well, plus they eliminate those ugly wires.
