My Tamiya 359
I'm sure some of you have seen this truck at other forums so you can tell I am always changing it around. Well, once again I tore it down and rebilt it. Here is some history on it and where it is at today...
http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSCF0791.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSCF0881.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSCF0916.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...-28-29_320.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...-03-44_831.jpg ...and here is what it looks like now. http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...-29-08_624.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...-29-45_625.jpg Right now it has a RC4WD 55 turn motor mated with a RC4WD 4:1 reduction. I still want to add either a pusher or lift axle and make it a dump truck or a heavy hauler with a dump trailer. Thanks for looking! |
Re: My Tamiya 359
The 1st brown Pete is my favorite. They are all very nice though.

do you have any truble with water gettin in to the electrics |
Re: My Tamiya 359
I remember seeing a video of this rig about a year ago, pulling a load around the garden. The first brown Pete would be my fav as well but half the fun is changing things up.

Re: My Tamiya 359
Thanks all for the compliments! Yeah, I do miss the brown version already. It could always go back.... ;) and diddys, I have not had a problem yet. Everything is mounted how it should be. I just don't take it below the servos. It has before but in mud not water. Thanks again!
