Need some bolt help.

I'm wanting to replace the machine screws on the frame work of my Wedico with cap screws (bolt heads). I need 2mm diameter, at least 6mm long and stainless steel. Every time I go to McMaster-Carr I get more confused and I don't want to buy bolts I have no use for.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Craig I went through it, and it seems that the hex head aren't available in metric sizes.

I looked at McMaster and I did not see any machine screws that small.

I checked "Micro Fasteners" They have the size you are looking for BUT they have a socket head (requires an allen wrench)

A 2mm is .0787 dia. A standard US #2 is .086 dia. If you want to be adventitious you might be able to tap the holes with a #2 tap. I have seen a lot of #2 x 1/4 long brass hex heads in hobby shops.

You might look across the pond for the metric sizes.

Look here----

Or Here
http://www.scalehardware.com/threaded-hex-bolts-c-1

See if you can figure out this site. This is the place I found .040'' rivets for my dragline in qty at a fairly reasonable price.

Well poop, guess I just paint the screws to match the frame. Sure thought it would have been easier than that.
