Hi to you all i am new to this and yet to buy a truck but wont be long I have a hitec optic 6 a 6 channel receiver with 36 meg should this be ok and is it 2 servos requireded or 3 sounds dumb but i am reading and looking a lot before i jump in the deap end:confused:

If your radio is legal for ground use in Australia, you should be OK. You only need 2 servos for the steering and shifting. If you are getting a Multi-function Unit(MFU) you will not need an electric speed control(ESC). If not, then you will need an ESC for the motor. Not sure if your radio has analog trim setting or digital, but analog(slide switch) works the best with the MFUs.

So if i am thinking right the mfu unit has all that built into it so that esc is not required
