What brand of truck is a Knight Hauler?
 

Well I am almost to the point of designing my cab for my Knight Hauler, in no small part thanks to the help I have gotten from this site, both in my questions, and looking at pics of your work. The thing I can't figure out though, is what brand of truck do I have? I think its a Freightliner (loosely) over a Pete, but I'm not sure, and would like some guidance before I buy emblems. Also, I have noticed that RC4WD has little options for the mud flaps (like the cat diesel power, but in WHITE?). Who else makes mudflaps? Thanks in advance, and will post some pics when I get something done worth posting.....

It's loosely modeled off the Freightliner Coronado.

The Knight Hauler is a Freightliner for the most part. The CAT diesel power mudflaps are only offered in white for our models as far as I know and they are offered in white for the 1:1s as well so it is something you would see an a real truck.

I get all my mud flaps from Ric at Precision modeling (Garden trucking). He has a thread on here. But he has plain white and black plus Peterbilt and Cat mud flaps. You can buy decal style clear plastic sheets that you can run through a printer if you want to put your own thing on them.

Thanks folks, I didn't realize that the white mudflaps were on full scale ones, hadn't seen that. I figured that the cat ones would be black with yellow lettering.

There all different kinds. I've seen a few different Cat styles out here on the full size. Each Cat dealership potentially can have their own version. Like trucking companies. The company I work for has our own style in all of our trailers.
