I seen this on Heavy Equipment Forums the other day. It is a moster and should have plenty of power too.

Come on Steve, what have you got against Cat?

Did you see this Jerry?http://www.powerdozer.com/index.html

Quite a concept to get rid of material...Apparently the "backpack" is the power unit to give power to the chain on the dozer...

Another interesting unit...K Tec 1245 ADT out of Canada..Employs a 44 yd scraper and a 40 ton ADT...It would make for an interesting model...6 wheel drive

Interesting marriage of two machines, thanks for sharing the link. I know I'm not gonna be first to build this. I got too many other projects to finish. :p However, I'd really like to see a video of her moving material.

I've been thinking of making a 6wd tamiya trk to pull my scraper, just got to remake the neck on the scraper and I'm good to go! Then we'll see just how much punishment those stock tam axles can take... to date, haven't exploded one yet!

About the Cat-D57T-wouldn't it be really slow or do they have a fast hi-speed gear?

If we could get in the files of Cat, Komatsu, IH, Euclid, Letourneau, Deere, and all the others, to see all the products that were prototyped or imagined, we could build models for years and never have two the same! The ones you have referenced here are really cool.
