my frist RC project: Bruder Delta Loader conversion
 

Hi,

I am planning to do a conversion of the Excavator shortly but as I am new in RC land, I thought to try first with something smaller and easier. So my choice went to the Bruder Delta Loader.

Before starting to rip the toy apart and start the conversion I spent a lot of time searching the forum for pioneers who did do the conversion already. After looking several builds, I decided to go ahead with the version that was created by Smallhaul. So first of all thanks Smallhaul for his tutorial, I learnt a lot and am confident to start on the next Bruder conversion.

I have completed the conversion in a timespan of 2 weeks (few hours in the evening and weekends). The job was more difficult than expected. Taking the toy apart required a lot of patience.

It took a while before all my parts arrived (due to a lack of decent RC stores, I had to order most of the stuff from the internet).

I didn't try it out with sand as I want to keep the delta loader clean as I am planning to sell it because I need to recover my costs so I can start on my next model which will be the excavator.
