Re: Fenders
Do you have a pic of what your looking to make? i made my fenders with 4"landscapeing pvc pipe and reg sheet styrene...
Draw your plan http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...326_125431.jpg Cut PVC to size http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...326_125447.jpg Cut bond/glue fill gaps and sand.. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...326_153637.jpg These pics are with the thicker pvc (too thick unless sanded down) i now use the landscaping stuff now its half the thickness.. Hope this helps Best of luck |
Re: Fenders
If you are not very good at body job then you may look at 3d printers...

Ok thank you

Re: Fenders
3D printing is seriously expensive. just a small 3pt hitch bar for a die cast tractor build I did was $175 - so I would guess fenders could be much higher.... but they will turn out exactly as you design them.

Re: Fenders
Ah yes those 3d printers. i was thinking of the one for scrapbooking that cuts paper but can cut styrene as well. it uses a razor blade to "draw" your design. i cant find the thread i saw it in over in rc4wd im still looking
