update to my frist big rig
It has been a long since i posted anything but i finnally made a bit of progress on my king . I poslihed the frame and all the other alumimun part . After letting the body soak in brake fuild for a week that took off the ten different colors of paint that were on it . i build the front bumper and a freind made the tanks for me and he is also making a set of battery boxs for me .
here is what it looked like when i got it http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a24...R/DSCF1740.jpg and as of today http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a24...R/DSCF1756.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a24...R/DSCF1761.jpg sorry for the crapy pic's |

Re: update to my frist big rig
It looks bad ***, I'm with dabears the lights look awesome. I'm very interested in seeing the battery boxes. The polished tops on the full fenders is a truely unique look.

Re: update to my frist big rig
Black paint with lots of polished metal always looks nice:D Question for you- how did you remove the anodizing from the frame rails? Tamiyas black anodizing is a pain to try and remove:mad::mad: Or did you use custom frame rails?

Re: update to my frist big rig
thanks for the compliments . i was a little unsure about the fenders at frist but with the truck mostly together they look ok .
dabears i'm glad you like the lights because they sure were a pain to wire all of them and i plan on about 40 more lol . BRICKNICK i should have the battery boxes sometime this week i'll post a pic as soon as i get them installed . tc1cat the rails are custom |
