This will show you the different options for 6wd.

The truck tech forum is full of info for newbies to the hobby.

It's probably shown in a picture somewhere in the truck tech forum as well of how to lock a diff, but the simple explanation is the 3 small gears within the differential itself, take one gear of the cross and fit it between the other two. It's easily removeable and change back to an open diff.

I use Shoo Goo in some of my diffs, works great for a limited slip diff. I usually lock the rearmost diff and add Shoo Goo to the other one (or two if it's 6wd). Too much bind in the drivetrain to lock them all, driveshafts and pinions won't last long and perhaps strip gears in the trans too.

What one would be easier to convert into a rc tipper?

Re: Need help

I guess that would depend on the size of box you'd want, the KH is longer frame.. though there's a few vendors here on this forum that can provide you with blank frame rails & you could stretch the Scania.

Re: Need help

I might just build one like Youre globeliner because if i extend the scania ill need to change the drivetrain and buy an extra axle if im make it 8x8.

Is that shoo goo glue for shoes ?

Re: Need help

Yes, Shoogoo is what you buy to glue the souls back onto shoes. Used it in R/C racing to solidly mount the esc and reciever in the trucks.

Thanks :) and lil giants said to use it to lock my diffs on my truck

Re: Need help

Shoo Goo doesn't lock the diffs, but rather creates a lot of resistance within the differential itself to create a limited slip axle.
