Ric Murphy Makes it to RC Car Action
 

Hey everyone. I subscribe to a couple RC magazines and came across a article in the November 2010 issue of Radio Control Car Action. Seems Ric was interviewed for the Wedico R/C Trucks.
So I would like to take this time to Congradulate him on his chance on opening a window for more Mini Trucking Fans to emerge. There was a great write up and some nice pictures.

If I knew it was legal to take a picture of it and post I would, but I had better not just incase of violating copyright laws.
If you got some extra money to spare go pick up a copy of the issue and see for yourself.

Just read the article. Article was good BUT way too short to do our hobby much good. Did mention both Tamiya and Wedico which was nice but no real meat to the subject if you know what I mean. In no way was this Ric's fault, just the way RC Car Action mag seems to right articles unless really interests the writer. Just my opinion.

Nice to spotlight the hobby, was kinda short though. Who's quad axle dump is in the article? That's sharp, can't say recall seeing one like it.

The dump is Ed's. It's changed a bit now but he did mention it on Scale.

Anyone know of a online hobby shop that would sell the magazine?
I tried googling with no luck. I will look this weekend when I am in San Antonio if I have a chance.

I got my copy at Walmart in Cincinatti, OH over the weekend...Check Walmart! Decent article. But easy to miss if thumbing thru it too easy but any exposure to the hobby is good!

hobbytown carries the mag. article was way to short for our hobbie. not rics fault,the
mag could have gone in dept more and listed the meets.

It wasn't a bad article, but it was short. Then again, almost all the RC magazine articles out there are written for people with ADD, I think. All seem so much shorter then I remember articles being in the past. Still, if someone is interested in the hobby, they should get a little push to dig into the hobby a little more. It would have been cool if a forum could have been mentioned, as there is so much more info here then any one book or article could contain.
