Welcome to the good side Cosworth. You'll find a great group of guys here with a wealth of knowledge and skill. Take some time and go through the threads and you'll see what I'm talking about. You could spend days looking at the builds and still go back and look again and see things you didn't the first time around. You'll find a quite a bit more info along the lines of the big rigs and construction stuff here than the other forums.

How's the excavator build coming along? Did you check out those links I posted over on scale for the retracts?? I'm looking forward to the rebuild of it and some input of what you think of those rams you have coming.

I seen that you plan on converting your excavator to air. I am interested in seeing how the hobbyking cylinders you ordered perform. If i recall correctly from back in the days on rcmt and rccrawlers they tried those air cylinders in place of axle mounted servos to mimic real monster trucks with axle mounted hydraulic steering. Their performance did not compare to servos.

But i did find these today... 100psi capable, 4" stroke

I think you were talking about a pump or compressor like this one from harbor freight but it seems like it would be too big and not powerful enough.
