Okay so I'm new to this part of the R/C world but can I build and fly airplanes you bet and yeah I run off road Rc trucks and cars so I enjoy this hobby more than I should but I can honestly say this... it took me out of the bars and also away from the drug scene so I'm greatful for the oldtimers that said hey why don't you give this a try and I did, I'm hooked and that's where my free time and money goes now and I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the site. I do see allot of great talent and its great to know I'm not the only adult with a kid still running around inside wanting to stay alive like my woman seems to think! Lol I figured that plane would catch someone attention so this is the run down on it, its a kit built P-47 Thunderbolt Razorback, 17CC gas engine, all digital spektrum servos on 2.4 mhz running a 6 volt system on 4800 mah NI-MH battery, 8 servos, air retractable landing gear built to scale and it weighs 13.5 lbs with a 63 1/2 inch wingspan. God I love this hobby!!!
Have a great day everyone, hoping to get too know you all and have just as much fun with this side of the spectrum!

Welcome to the forum. Nice work on the plane.

There is an old timer right down the road from you in Wright. Bad thing is he has not been active for a few years now. He bought a Harley and that was the end of this hobby for him. It's a shame too, cause he was into it with a passion.

Do you by chance know who this guy is? I could maybe get some help and insight from him. Whats his forum name by chance cause theres a couple guys I fly with from Wright that might even be the guy.
