windsheild wiper pump?
 
i asked this on another site but no yes or no anwser . could you use a windshield wiper pumpa as a hydraulic pump for a exacavator? im trying to learn about hydraulics i plan to upgrade my custom excavator from fregilli rams to hydraulics so trying to find out what works or not. ?

I seriously doubt it, windshield washer pumps are not made to pump head pressure or hold any kind of constant pressure. That's not even dealing with the fact that the materials may or may not hold up with oil instead of water in it.

IF a diaphragm or impeler type pump , no , not designed for high press applications . vain or gear , yes , but I have not seen 1 small enough to use on these models .
