Tire help

I did a brief search for tire height/size, did not find what I'm looking for.

What I am trying to find out is the height and roll-out of stock Tamiya duels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Tire help

Hokay Hound:

Measured my stock Tamiya rubber-&-rims:

Diameter, tire: 83mm
Width, single tire: 19mm at tread, 20mm if measured at sidewall (bulge some);
Width, duals: 44mm, 45mm if you measure at the sidewalls;
Spacing between inner tires, across chassis: about 94-95mm (some play)
Spacing between front & aft tires: 19mm (tread to tread)
Spacing between front & rear axles: 102mm
Overall track width, outer to outer: 183-184mm (again, some play)

Thats for both a KH rear axle pair, and flatbed trailer axle pair.

If you don't adjust the spacing, the max diameter tire you can use w/o rub is 100mm, and that leaves only 2mm gap between front & rear tire treads.

Hope that analysis is what you were lookin g for, if not, ask away.
