BIG BUD 16V-747
I picked this tractor up at INDY last weekend and other than a few changes and some finishing touches it is converted and driveable.
http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/s...psa3ef1362.jpg http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps0cb85881.jpg The drivetrain consits of Tamiya semi axles, Axial trans for a transfer case and an RC4WD R2 trans. The steering is done by a pair of firgelli actuators. I plan to add lights and servo outputs at the back for a future attachment. Thanks for looking. Travis |

Re: BIG BUD 16V-747
Cool model, Travis. How do you utilize the stock rims and tires, and bolt them to Tamiya axles? Custom hubs?

On my other big bud tractor I used a set of hubs from Steve that he makes for his semi rims, I just had to mill off the stem for the moon cap. The stock rim had a cap on it that looked like a planetary which covered the mounting bolts and nut with no mods. Travis |
