Liebherr 944B or Komatsu PC490?
 

Hi guys,
I'm new to the world of radio control and need some advice. I've been looking at these excavators from Fumotec and Liebherrmodelle and can't decide which one is better? If anyone has any experience with either machine, I would like to hear your thoughts.

What do you know about Fumotec?

Your only purchase option for a Premacon model is RTR only and if you have any problems with it, they insist on you sending it back to them for repairs or they warranty nothing.

Performance & durability, they both the same.

Price wise, Premacon is a minimum of 30% more.

I've built a couple of Fumotec models & I will build several more in the near future. Fumotec is a great deal like Stahl/Leimbach models for its simplicity in assembly & functionality of performance. If you like to build & fine tune your model to your own liking, the Fumotec is the better choice.

If you'd rather have the model built for you, then it's a flip of the coin.

Thanks for the quick reply folks, unfortunately I do not know a great deal about either manufacturer. I think I would like to assemble it myself as a bit of self satisfaction. Do these models come ready painted or do you have to paint them yourself?

The Premacon being RTR is fully painted & decaled.

Fumotec is not painted. Decals are provided with the kit too.
