Having some trouble. (Pics inside)

I have my bruder excavator going well until I hooked my pump esc up. The motor works with power straight from a battery but not when it's hooked up to the esc. I have my mixings done on my turnigy 9x and I'm pretty sure it's right. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't see the receiver or the battery in the picture, is the esc plugged in to the rx or batt?

servo's are missing the valves . also just from a old school r/c guy, you should har wire the motor to the esc, its little better on the old esc and battery. every solder joint and plug is a little bit of
power lost, and can be a hot spot in the circuit

I plugged a servo in just to see if that was the problem and it still didn't work.. But I will make sure all connections are soldered as well as the motor to the esc. Thanks for the help

Oztruck wrote out this detailed post of how he does the mix on his radio, I think it's the same one you're talking about.

Well I got it to work. Had to reset the mixes and do it all over again. So now I gotta fill the hydraulic fluid and get to work. Thanks again for the help everyone
