Painted Fuel Tanks

Anyone ever made a set of fuel tanks you painted? How did you do it? I really don't want to paint a pair of aluminum tanks.

You can use PVC pipe. A couple budets have done that. Search for tamiya cowboy. He's one that comes to mind with a build or 2 that way
