Thought I would take a minute to list this radio for trucks. I bought it with the idea of tearing it apart to put in more switches for lights ect ect.

Or easier yet is to just add a gear box behind it, such as this box...

Re: Working out the gear ratio
So all you have to do is take the RPM and divide 16 into it, that gives you RPM out of the box, then do the same on the axle. You might have to find the ratio on the rear end first by counting gears...

Re: Working out the gear ratio
The one part I can help you with is the motor, higher turns mean slower KV.
I think, big think there, but the highest turns on a brushless is 21.5 which gives you around 1600KV. A 13.5 should turn...

Re: Sense ESS Sound System

Don't know to many Semi's that turn upwards of 6 to 9k rpm....

Re: Question about rear frame member
Yep, lots of drilling and taping to be done. The frame rails are from Ric at PMD, love those as they are a perfect match to Tamiya rails, hence no filing off corners of items to make them fit.

Same for me Supermario, but this place is very good, ship fast and have most of the metric hardware. Never had a problem with it being sent by USPS to Canada.

I don't believe that ESC has reverse in it, which you would need. The use of a servo control board can be done but it needs the pot replaced with correct resistors and even that sometimes is hard to...
