Re: Capo 1582-2 Tatra T815-7 8x8 and Cross MC8 Man Kat 1 8x8

Id be more worried about them breaking a tooth as opposed to wearing out. So ill be doing like you. Keeping them open untill needed. I plan to run each axle on a sepperate channel as well. Thats not...

Re: Capo 1582-2 Tatra T815-7 8x8 and Cross MC8 Man Kat 1 8x8

The Capo distributer I buy from has regular meetings with Capo and regularly asks me for suggestions. One of the things I told him when discussing the V3 was that Id like to see planetary hubs for...

Re: Why stretch a Semi?

Thanks for the responses. Ive never driven a tractor truck. The extent of my truck experience was driving a 40' boom truck for a lumber yard in my younger days. It was the overhanging of loads in...

Why stretch a Semi?

my curiousity on this has gotten the better of me and I need to know. What is the point of stretching a semi to ridiculous lengths? Is it just a show truck coolness factor thing? Or is there a...

Re: Capo 1582-2 Tatra T815-7 8x8 and Cross MC8 Man Kat 1 8x8

Will be interesting to see how the 550 works. Im toying with the idea of doing a 3:1 planetary reduction on each hub. But that will be costly, and as I said... Finding the time...

Re: Capo 1582-2 Tatra T815-7 8x8 and Cross MC8 Man Kat 1 8x8

Cool. Ive got a V3 sitting on my shelf also. Just no time to work on it or the V2. Looks like they've lowered the gear ratio quite abit on the new one. A wise decision imo.

Re: Dx8i Carson tipper control

Im still not quite sure what your asking. How many channels are you needing? You can bind 2 receivers to different models on the transmitter and change back and forth.
If your asking how to program...

Re: ScaleART - Assembling a MAN TGX/XL 6x6 tractor & Trailer

Isnt it funny how a solution just comes to you after an exorbitant amount of time mulling over the problem? Thats why I'm such a slow builder at times. Ill find myself just sitting and staring at...

Re: Capo 1:8 Jeep CD15823

Put some more time in on this. More wiring... Ugh.... Racked my brain a bit to figure out how to mount the Heyok light controller. Great controllers, but a bit hard to mount in this type of build....
